The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
Psalm 145:17-19
God satisfies because of who He is. It’s impossible to capture in human words who God is. Even in this few verses, we see so many attributes of God, righteous, kind, near, satisfying, hearing, saving. An exposition of those attributes alone could not be contained in any number of books. It is this God, righteous and kind, who is near to those who call on Him. It is because of who He is, creator and sustainer, that our hearts’ deepest desires are met in Him. Satisfied.
Studio Update:
More critters, and splatters, and doodles! I have so much enjoyed drawing these little critters, I think I get more excited after each addition. And then, there’s the day where I was tired of all my existing projects and picked up random paint from my palette and did some messy splattered pansies.

Cheddar Cornmeal Biscuits
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2-3/4 cup cheddar cheese
In a medium bowl, blend flours, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar, salt, and thyme. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs (can use a food processor). Add milk and cheese and mix until combined. Bake at 450F for 10-12 minutes until golden.

That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!
