Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22
Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.” – Jeremiah 9:23-24
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. – 1 John 4:9-10
…but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. – Psalm 63:3-4
Studio Update:
Just because I don’t have a lot of “studio” pictures to share doesn’t mean I haven’t been creative, but my creating has taken a lot of other forms that don’t really share well in a picture on a website… so here’s a couple of pictures from the month, and hopefully next month I’ll have more time to create art to share here.

Pesto Scones
- 9 1/2 oz all purpose flour
- 2 oz sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 Tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup cold butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, basil, and cheese in a large mixing bowl. Cut the butter into the flour mixture until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a separate bowl, whisk together cream and egg until well blended. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until combined. Pat out into 1/2″ thickness and cut into 12 scones. Bake at 425° F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.

That’s all for this month. Thanks for stopping by!
