And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8
When we are satisfied in Christ, our hearts abound with generosity. God owns everything, and can provide us with any material thing we need. But, more than that, He provides grace. Look at what he’s already given: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).” Our need is not for more stuff. We need more God, more of His grace. It is through His grace that whatever we have, whether little or much, is abundance.
Studio Update:
Wrapping up my final calendar pictures for next year! Look for the download to appear in November. I’m so excited to share these little critters and the theme of hope throughout next year.

Sourdough Bagels
- 250g water
- 1/4-1/2 cup starter
- 24g sugar
- 200g whole wheat flour
- 300g bread flour
- Salt, to taste
In a large bowl, whisk together water, starter, and sugar. Add flour and salt and mix until combined. Cover with a damp towel and rise overnight.
The next morning, divide the dough into 12 portions. Roll into rounds and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Poke a hole in the center of each round with your finger and stretch the bagel out. Let rise 30-40 minutes.
In a large pot, bring water and about a tablespoon of honey to a boil. Boil the bagels for 30-40 seconds on each side and line them up on a sheet pan for baking (this is the point where you add “everything” seasoning or cheese to the top of your bagels). Bake in a 425 F oven for 13-15 minutes (or until internal temperature reaches 190 F). Great toasted with cream cheese or as a sandwich.

That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!
